Always a fun start to a girl's night when the hostess hands you a commentary glass of champagne. The guacamole was delicious. The steak was a bit chewy for the price but had good flavor. The seared salmon sushi was amazing! Will definitely have that again next time. The surprise dessert was a nice finishing touch to a wonderful dinner.

It's always a great experience dining in at Joey Uptown! Dining there was truly a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were exquisite, leaving a lasting impression on the palate. We highly recommend this exceptional dining establishment.

Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food. We had zero complaints. The French Dip Sliders were sooooo good. Drinks were well made and presented in great glassware. Servers had ‘personality’ and checked on us regularly.

Plenty of friends that work at Joeys. Anytime I go I always have a great experience. I went with my boyfriend September 13th for a dinner date before starting our Friday night adventures, and left very disappointed. Honestly, I can’t stop talking about the situation. When we were seated our server “Qasharri” — seemed pretty nice, a little swift in conversation, but nice. We placed our order and chatted amongst each other. Kashari stopped by a few times asking if we were good, everything was fine, we were waiting on our food. Darius, brought out of food as well as a steak knife for our meal, sauce, and more water. Qasharri had about 3-4 other tables around us, stopped by each table, but never cane back once our food arrived. Made many laps, making sure her other tables were good, talking with fellow employees right behind us, but never thought to ask “how did the food turn out” or “is everything good” because if she had, she would have been aware that my ravioli was cold, but I made no fuss because I was really tickled that she never came back. Throughout the dinner I kept telling my boyfriend “this is wild, what is going on.” Finally after my boyfriend CLEARED his plate, and I had half of my food left, Kashari came back by our area to fill our water and he asked asked for a to go box. She did not box my food, nor offer, nor did she ask, again “Did you guys enjoy everything?” Or “How was dinner” NOTHING. She then came back with the box, he asked for the check. In the mist of him cashing out he bypassed the tip screen once, she went back, and he bypassed it again. Qasharri, our server, then asked “DO YOU PLAN ON LEAVING CASH” my boyfriend asked “for what?” Qasharri said “for a tip” my boyfriend said “No, I didn’t like the service.” Qasharri goes “oh you could have told me, what didn’t you like about it” my boyfriend starts to explain “You never came back to check on us once the food came out, and I’m sure it was sitting for while hence to Brooke’s ravioli being cold, you didn’t update about the food because it was taking a little time, you didn’t bring us the proper silverware to eat our steak (we had butter knives) another employee was more attentive and switched them for steak knives and was kind enough to get us steak sauce. We only saw you when the plates were cleared and it was time to pay. Simple. Kashari’s next response was “POCKETS TIGHT, I GET IT.” I am absolutely FLOORED by the comment. As many places as I have eaten, I have never heard anyone so bold and ENTITLED to first, ask for a tip via cash, and second tell anyone “POCKETS TIGHT OH I GET IT.” The lack of professionalism and overall audacity til today, has me so baffled, I just couldn’t believe the comment. Its quite comical, in a sad way. I appreciate the manager Jordan for attentive about the situation, but overall I’m still in disbelief, the disrespect was wild. Every person I have mentioned this to is speechless about her tasteless comment. Very tacky, very disappointing do better Qasharri.
